Come Play Cowboy With Us!

This exclusive package invites the hearty adventurer to experience the Texas Hill Country from the back of a horse and under a blanket of beautiful stars. The 3 night minimum package includes 2 nights at the Dixie Dude Ranch, and one night on the trail with a handful of experienced cowboys and range cooks.

Trail Ride at Dixie Dude Ranch The nights at Dixie Dude Ranch include lodging, three home-cooked meals, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, hiking and entertainment.

The overnight trail ride begins after lunch where each cowboy and cowgirl will get acquainted with their faithful mount and begin their ride through some of the most spectacular vistas of the Texas Hill Country.

In the late afternoon, they will camp in weather-friendly cabanas, along with an authentic chuck wagon, range cook and cowboy cuisine.

After supper, they are serenaded by a trio of cowboy balladeers (occasionally with back-up coyotes) around the campfire and under a blanket of stars. Morning begins with coffee, of course, and a breakfast to die for. Then it's back in the saddle for more bonding with one's steed to make their way back to the ranch in time for lunch.

The groups must have a minimum of 8 persons and a maximum of 20, with a minimum age of 12 years. The cost of the package is $125 per person, in addition to the cost of 3 days/nights at the ranch. Group rides with at least 4, but less than 7 persons, with a minimum age of 12 years, are available for $155 per person, in addition to the cost of 3 days/nights at the ranch. If you have a group and are unable to come during the available dates below, give us a call and we'll check to see if we can accommodate you at any time during the year.

In addition to the cost of the three nights, please include taxes and gratuities.

Nov 2007: 6-8,13-15, 27-29

Dec 2007: 4-6, 11-13

Jan 2008: 8-10, 15-17, 22-24, 29-31

Feb 2008: 5-7, 12-14, 19-21, 26-28

Rates For Overnight Trailride:

4-7 people: $155 each

8+ people: $125 each

Rates above are in addition to the cost of the 3 days/nights at the ranch, and do not include taxes and gratuities.
